In 1971, Bob & Anne Bagshaw founded Team Bagshaw with a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise. Since that time Team Bagshaw has expanded our restaurant brands to include Taco Bell, Long John Silvers and A&W. During our forty year journey we have grown to over 30 restaurants, throughout Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
Kentucky Fried Chicken
In 1956, at the age of 66, Colonel Harland Sanders began franchising his famous Kentucky Fried Chicken. Colonel Sanders hometown is Henryville, Indiana, which he would frequently visit. Bob Bagshaw is also a native of Henryville and that is where Bob & Anne created their vision for Team Bagshaw.
Long John Silvers
In 1969, Jerrico Restaurants launched the first Long John Silver restaurant in Lexington, Kentucky. The name was inspired by the novel "Treasure Island."
Glen Bell began selling tacos for 19 cents in the 1950's and in the early 1960's he combined his last name with his passion to create the first Taco Bell in Downey, California.
In 1919 Roy Allen mixed up a creamy batch of the now famous root beer, selling the a frosty mug for only a nickel in his first "root beer stand" in Lodi, California. With partner Frank Wright the root beer was named "A&W" (for Allen & Wright) and the root beer stands grew to be the country's first "drive in" featuring "tray boys" for curb side service.
